Standard Fees For Loan Closings:
Description and Amount
1. Base Fee $125.00
2. Second set of loan documents $35.00
3. E-mailed loan documents $25.00
4. Cancellation (two hours or less) $50.00
5. Printing of 2nd loan docs (2 copies) $35.00
6. Fax backs $10.00
7. HELOC Sitting Fee $25.00
HELOC Loans:
Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) loans are subject to Article XVI, Section 50 of the Texas Constitution and must be signed and closed in the office of a lender, attorney, or title company.
Attorney Hal Monk @ 840 Bedford, TX 76022, 817.282.5244,has agreed to supervise me. Fee: $25 per each loan closing for his time & use of his office conference room. Unusually time and days available are flexible. However, I do need to call him to book the room and make sure it is available.
If you cancel a HELOC appointment there is a $10 room cancellation fee.
MAXCIMUM NOTARY FEES FOR TEXAS:
Texas law sets the maximum fees that notaries may charge for their services. Notaries are also required to post their fees for the public, and you should give a written itemized invoice for your notarial services. Here is a list of allowable fees for the most common notarial services.
Taking acknowledgments or proofs
for the first signature $6.00
for each additional signature $1.00
Administering oath or affirmation $6.00
Swearing a witness for a deposition $6.00
Taking a deposition of a witness (for each 100 words) $ .50
Certifying a photocopy $6.00
Providing an uncertified copy of an entry from a notary’s record book (per page) $ .50
